Sherry Lynn Matheson

Sherry Lynn Matheson, age 54 of Rockwood, went to be at rest and peace with her Lord on February 29^th, 2020. Sherry loved attending church, spending time with her family and her dog, Molly. Her friendly and outgoing personality and Christian witness always affected those around her. She will be greatly missed and will never be forgotten. Sherry is preceded in death by her mother, whom she missed greatly, Venita Burnette of Rockwood: Grandparents, Harrison and Hester Burnette, Ellard and Edna Barnes, all of Rockwood. She is survived by:

Father:                       Wayne Burnette of Rockwood, TN

Sister:                         Tammy Leffew (Glenn) of Harriman, TN

Special Friends:         Jennifer Bullard and Cindy Hall.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 3^rd, 2020 from 4:00pm till 7:00pm at Evans Mortuary in Rockwood. Funeral service will follow in the chapel of Evans Mortuary at 7:00pm with Rev. Glenn Leffew and Rev. Wayne Mullins officiating. Graveside and interment service will be on Wednesday, March 4^th at 1:00pm at the Swan Pond Cemetery in the Swan Pond Community of Midtown, TN. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society. Evans Mortuary is serving the family of Sherry Lynn Matheson.
