Ronnie L Boring

Mr. Ronnie L. Boring, age 73 of Kingston, passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at his home. He was born on June 13, 1951, in Cleveland, TN. Ronnie retired after many years as a machinist for Norfolk Southern Railroad. He was an avid fisherman in his younger days, and truly was a jack of all trades. He enjoyed cars, racing, computer engineering (He was the moderator for several different websites and online car and community forums), and music. He also served on several committees for Roane county. Most of all he loved being home with his family and being able to spend time with them. He is preceded in death by his parents: Arnold L. Boring & Betty J. Callahan Boring; his mother and father-in-law: Mayme & Garland Turner; special cousins: Dale and June Boring; and several brother and sister-in-laws. He is survived by:

Daughter: Heather Boring

Special Cousins: Linda & Matthew Fuller

several nieces & nephews

and a host of other extended family members and friends.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 6, 2025, from 5:00-7:00 pm ET at Evans Mortuary in Rockwood, TN. Graveside and interment services will be held on Monday, April 7, 2025, at 11:00 am ET in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Rockwood. Evans Mortuary is serving the family of Mr. Ronnie L. Boring.
