Otis Ray Henry

Mr. Otis Ray Henry, age 62, of Rockwood, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 with his family by his side. He was born on October 11, 1961 to Jessie Epps Henry and Glendith Jewell Carter Henry in Rockwood, TN. He held several jobs over the years such as, PA Industries, several machine shops, and ended up at Bowater papermill. Otis was very charismatic and loved joking around every chance he could. Mr. Henry loved his momma and family and could not wait to see them every chance he got. He is preceded in death by his father: Jessie Epps Henry, and brother: Jack Henry. He is survived by: 

Mother: Glendith Henry of Rockwood, TN

Sisters: Pasty Myers (Randy) of Ohio

Kay Morgan (Gary) of Ohio

Peggy Basler (Steve) of Rockwood, TN

Lorie Nutt (Edd) of Memphis, TN

Son: Shane Henry of Rockwood, TN

Granddaughter: Elizabeth Henry 

And several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, great nieces, great nephews, and great great nephew.

The family will have a graveside service on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 4:00 pm at Henry Family Cemetery in Rockwood, TN with Marty DeRossett officiating. Evans Mortuary is serving the family of Mr. Otis Ray Henry.
