Ms. Carrie Ann Johnson, was born September 27, 1969 in Dayton, TN. to the late Barbara Lynn Johnson and Robert Hall. Carrie was called to eternal rest by her Lord and Savior on July 31, 2019 at Parkwest Medical Cemter in Knoxville, Tennessee at the age of 49. Carrie graduated from Rhea County High School and was a member of St. Mary’s Baptist Church in Harriman, TN. Carrie was a passenger in a head on fatal car accident back in 1999. The accident took the life of one of her friends, left one friend paralyzed, and left her with many head injuries that led to other illnesses. Carrie was such a strong person to endure so much in her short life. She rarely complained, but when she did, she could surely make some noise. She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Lynn Johnson; sister, Donnita Johnson Marsh; grandmothers, Carrie Lou Moss and Reecie McKamey Johnson. Survivors Included: Adoptive parents: Charles Johnson (Brenda) of Spring City, TN. Sister: Tanisa Jana Johnson of Spring City, TN. Brother: Charles Steven (Rachel) Johnson of Athens, TN. Brother-in-law: Andre Marsh of Harriman, TN. Uncles: Paul Johnson (Debbie) of Harriman, TN. Walter Johnson of Dayton, TN. Nephews: Patrick Marsh of Chattanooga, TN. Teagan and Terren Johnson of Athens, TN. Special friend and mentor Sister Julia Harris. A host of cousins and friends. Family will receive friends Sunday, August 4th, 2019 from 2:00pm-3:00pm at Evans Mortuary. Funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Evans Mortuary with Rev. Willie Gallaher officiating. Interment and graveside service will be held in the Petersburg Cemetery in Spring city, TN. Evans Mortuary is serving the family of Ms. Carrie Ann Johnson.
