Mrs. Virginia Sue Fritts

Mrs. Virginia Sue Fritts, age 78, a resident of Rockwood, Tennessee went to be with her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at her home. She was born April 21, 1942 in Harriman, Tennessee. Mrs. Fritts was a member of the Emory Gap Baptist Church in Harriman, Tennessee. She had retired from Roane State Community College in Harriman and was formerly a Supervisor with Palm Beach Mills in Rockwood, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her parents, Troy & Charlene Poole; and brothers, Buddy Poole and Ronnie Poole.

The family will receive friends Thursday, April 1, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Evans Mortuary. Funeral services will follow on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at 8:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Evans Mortuary with Pastor Robert Laymance and Bro. Willard Gunter officiating. Private family committal services will be held in the Roane Memorial Gardens in Rockwood, Tennessee. For memorial contributions, the family recommends floral arrangements, or financial contributions to Alzheimer’s Tennessee or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
