Mrs. Eldora Florence “Doreen” Larue

Mrs. Eldora Florence “Doreen” LaRue, age 78, a resident of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away with her loving family by her side on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at the Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center, Knoxville, Tennessee. She was born April 3, 1940 in Tioga, New York. She loved being a homemaker and taking care of her family. She also enjoyed sewing and reading and was previously employed at Target for several years. She was preceded in death by her father, Merle Albert Doty & his wife, Madelyn; mother, Doris Everette & her husband, Jim; her loving husband, Larry Thomas LaRue, Sr.; and her son, David Kiser. Survivors include: Daughter: Kimberly McBride & husband, Joe of Knoxville, TN Son: Larry “Tommy” LaRue, Jr. & wife, Betty of Rockwood, TN Grandchildren: Jennifer McBride, Sierra McBride, Danielle Merritt & husband, Gary Tiffany Moore & husband, Jeffrey, Sarah LaRue, Larry LaRue III Sisters: Carolyn Butler of NY Harriet Rathbun & husband, Denny of PA Lyne Becker & husband, Lee of PA Brother: Ed Doty of PA Cat “Patches” And several other relatives and many friends. The family will receive friends Saturday, February 9, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at the Evans Mortuary. Graveside services and interment will follow on Saturday, February 9, 2019 in the Glen Alice Cemetery in Rockwood, Tennessee with Rev. Tim Ford officiating.
