Mr. Ray R. Mcghee

Mr. Ray R. McGhee, age 87, a resident of Rockwood, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at the Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center, Knoxville, Tennessee. He was born October 1, 1932 in Rockwood, Tennessee. Mr. McGhee was a retired Crane Operator for Roane Electric Furnace in Rockwood and was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Thomas McGhee and Grace May Rogers McGhee; son, Randy Thomas McGhee; daughter, Nell Ann McGhee; wife, Phyllis McGhee; brother, Rolland McGhee; sister, Mary Ruth Nichols; and nephew, David Nichols. Survivors include: Son & Daughter-in-law: Ed “Speedy” & Carla McGhee of Rockwood, TN Daughter: Kathy McGhee Knox of Rockwood, TN 2 Grandchildren 2 Great Grandchildren 2 Great-Great Grandchildren A private interment will be held at a later date in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Rockwood, Tennessee.
