Mr. Jack W. Miles

Mr. Jack W. Miles, age 82 of Rockwood, went home to be with the Lord Saturday morning, early January 4^th, 2020. He was born on April 21^st, 1937 in Rockwood, TN. Jack was a veteran and served in the United States Air Force. He was a member of Griever’s Chapel Baptist Church. He was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed. He is preceded in death by his parents: Elige & Laura (Godsey) Miles; Sisters: Viola Gunter, Elizabeth Sherrill, Maggie Rucker; Brothers: Warren Miles, Elige Jr. Miles, Earl Miles, Kenneth Miles, and Howard Miles. He is survived by:

Wife of 55 years:                    Georgia Miles of Rockwood, TN

Son:                                        Keith Miles (Melinda) of Rockwood, TN

Grandchildren:                      Brandon Miles of Rockwood, TN

                                                Courtney Miles of Rockwood, TN

Brothers:                                Chester Miles of Rossville, GA

                                                Charles Miles (Sandra) of Ringgold, GA

And a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 7^th, 2020 from 12:00 – 2:00 pm at Evans Mortuary in Rockwood, TN. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm with Rev. Wayne Townsend officiating. Graveside and interment will follow immediately after in the Roane Memorial Gardens in Rockwood, TN with Military Honors presented by the U.S. Air Force Honor Guard and Roane County Military Memorial Honor Guard. Evans Mortuary is serving the family of Mr. Jack W. Miles.
