Mr. Daniel W. Taylor

Mr. Daniel W. Taylor, transitioned from this world to be in the presence of the Lord God Almighty on Friday, August 23^rd, 2019 at Fort Sanders Hospital in Knoxville, TN. He was born on May 25^th, 1948 to the late Daniel & Constance Taylor. He was also preceded in death by sons: Rick Taylor and Solomon Taylor, and one grandson: Rick Taylor Jr. Deacon Taylor served faithfully on various ministries at Saint Mary’s Baptist Church in Harriman, TN. He was educated at University of Tennessee where he earned his B.A. degree in business administration. He retired from K-25 after 35 years of service. He leaves behind to celebrate his homegoing and cherish his memories:

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 31^st, 2019 from 12:00pm – 1:30pm in the chapel of Evans Mortuary in Rockwood, TN. Funeral service will follow with Rev. Jesse Williams Sr. and Rev. Willie J Gallagher officiating. Graveside and interment service will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Rockwood. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the St. Mary’s Baptist Church in Harriman on behalf of the Sickle Cell foundation in memory of Mr. Taylor’s son, Rick Taylor.
