Mr. Billy F. Mcnure

Mr. Billy F McNure, age 82 of Rockwood passed away in his home on July 17^th, 2020. He was from Swainsboro, Ga. He was the oldest of two children. He married the love of his life at 25 and was a proud father of three children and a papaw to 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. After retiring from Alba Health in Rockwood, Tn he spent most of his time playing his guitar and singing southern gospel music. He was a member of the Glory Road Quartet for 20+ years in Lemont, Il. Billy was a deacon and musician at Gateway Baptist Church where he was a member. He Enjoyed entertaining patrons at the Rockwood McDonalds with his friends on Wednesday nights. He is preceded in death by his parents: Willie & Thelma McNure; and his wife of 41 years Naomi McNure. He is survived by:

Any many nieces and nephews.   Mr. Billy McNure will have a visitation at Gateway Baptist Church in Rockwood, TN on Monday, July 20, 2020 from 4 p.m.-6 p.m. with a service being held at 6 p.m. with Pastor Jerry Lefew and Pastor Doug Hawkins officiating. Interment will take place on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at Roane Memorial Gardens at 10 am. Evans Mortuary is serving the family of Mr. Billy McNure.
