Morgan Henderson Fisher Jr.

Mr. Morgan H. Fisher, Jr. age 71, of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at his home on February 9, 2025. A dedicated and loving father, Morgan will be remembered for his selflessness, kindness, and hardworking nature.

Morgan was preceded in death by his wife of 14 years, Stephanie Yeary Fisher; ex-wife, Mary Gail Fisher; and his beloved daughter, Mary Nichols “Nickie” Brown. Throughout his life, he remained a constant source of strength and support for his family.

Morgan’s work ethic defined much of his life. He spent the majority of his career as a truck driver, always ensuring he was providing for his loved ones. Earlier, he worked as a seismographer in the oil fields, contributing his expertise to the industry with dedication and skill. No matter what role, Morgan’s commitment to hard work and those around him was unwavering.

Morgan’s true joy came from making sure others were cared for. He lived his life always putting others before himself, never wanting anyone to worry about him. His gentle and generous spirit earned him the love and respect of all who knew him.

He is survived by his daughter, Layla Fisher of Oak Ridge, TN; his grandchildren, Keyarian Jones (Kyler) of Oak Ridge, TN; Aniya Fisher of Oak Ridge, Tn; Morgan Tyler Brown of Rockwood, TN; Torey Works of Rockwood, TN; and Taegon Brown of Rockwood, TN; great grandchildren, Mellie, Taelynn, Axel, Hunter, Gabriel, Gage, Declan, Justice, and Maylin; youngest brother, Brian Fisher, eldest sister, Katrece Quigley Caregiver, Julie Winkler. 

Morgan will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know him. Morgans Legacy of care, love, and unwavering support for his family will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him. May he rest in peace.

The family will have a celebration of life Friday, February 14, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Evans Mortuary. Evans Mortuary is serving the family of Mr. Morgan H. Fisher, Jr.
