Mary L. Tuggle

Mrs. Mary L. Tuggle, age 85 of Rockwood, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 21^st, 2020 at the Roane Medical Center in Harriman, TN. She was born on August 16^th, 1934 in Rhea County, TN. She loved to be a grandmother and loved her grandchildren. She also loved to sew, tend to her flower garden, and to cook. She is preceded in death by her husband: Floyd “Pete” Tuggle; Parents: Lee & Charlotte Burdette; Son: Larry Elbert Tuggle; Sister: Naoma McNure; Brothers: Junior Burdette & Corky Burdette. She is survived by:

Daughter:                              Janet Ward (Jeff) of Rockwood, TN

Son:                                        Nathan Tuggle (Tammy) of Rockwood, TN

Grandchildren:                      Aaron Tuggle (Emily), Aimee Tuggle, Rachel Bowers (Jon), Hannah Haid (Charlie), Hunter Tuggle, Skye Tuggle, Brooke Tuggle, Dyllan Tuggle, and Halie Tuggle.

Great-Grandchildren:           Arien Tuggle, Olivia, Lacee, and Cannan

Daughter-in-law:                  Brenda Tuggle of Rockwood, TN

Sisters:                                   Helen Grasham of Rockwood, TN

                                                Leona Plemons of Kingston, TN

Sister-in-law:                         Sue Hicks of Harriman, TN

And several other nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 23^rd, 2020 from 4:00-6:00pm at the Community Baptist Church in Rockwood, TN. Funeral service will follow at 6:00 with Bro. Daryn Griffis & Bro. Donnie Harvey officiating. Graveside and interment will be on Monday at 4:00pm in the Delozier Cemetery in Harriman, TN. Evans Mortuary is serving the family of Mrs. Mary L. Tuggle.
