Mrs. Margaret Louise “Bill” Fritts, age 99, a resident of Kingston, Tennessee and former lifelong resident of Rockwood, Tennessee passed away Saturday, October 5, 2024, at the Renaissance Terrace in Harriman, Tennessee. She was born October 3, 1925, in Rockwood, Tennessee. She was a Charter Member of the Clymersville Baptist Church and was a retired Knitter with Burlington Industries in Rockwood with 30 years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Fritts; daughters, Ella Mae Smith (Bill) and Kay Smith (Levone “Smiddy”); and nine brothers and sisters.
Survivors include:
Son: Joe Fritts (Trula) of Rockwood, TN
Daughter: Glenda Fritts Gadd of Harriman, TN
Grandchildren: Mitzi Kennedy (Bryan), Matthew Hamby (Marsha), Wendy Savage (John), Samantha Durfee (Eric), Josette Weatherford, Scott Stocker (Kathy), and Robbie Stocker
And a host of Great Grandchildren and Great-Great Grandchildren
And many other relatives and friends

The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 9, 2024, from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. at the Evans Mortuary. Funeral services will follow on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Evans Mortuary with Rev. Greg Kelly officiating. Committal services and interment will follow in the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Rockwood, Tennessee. An online register is available at www.evansmortuary.biz.
