Lydia Evelyn Beltran, age 62 of Cleveland, Alabama, formerly of Grandview, passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at the St. Vincent Hospital in Montgomery, Alabama. She was born on September 11, 1962, in Dayton, TN. Lydia worked as a translator and receptionist for the Alabama Dept. Of Health for many years. She had a big heart and found her passion in helping people, which was evident in her job and her commitment to serve people of diverse backgrounds. She graduated from high school in the Evansville community of Rhea County, and later moved to Alabama. She was a lover of flowers and especially her dear cats. She is preceded in death by her parents: Bobby Wolfe & Roxie Louise Evans Wolfe; grandparents: Vina Evelyn Evans & Lester Evans, Yvonne Wolfe & Stanley Wolfe; and several aunts and uncles. She is survived by:
Brother: Michael Gene Wolfe
Nieces & Nephews: Lydia, Brittany, Austin
and a host of other extended family members and friends.
Family and friends will meet on Monday, March 17, 2025, at 3:00 pm ET in the Mt. Sulphur Cemetery in Grandview, TN, for a graveside service with Chaplain Bruce Foster officiating. Evans Mortuary is serving the family of Lydia Evelyn Beltran.
