Lorraine Jarvie Purdy

Mrs. Lorraine Jarvie Shelton Purdy, age 93 of Harriman, TN passed away on Monday, January 6, 2025 at her home with her family by her side. She was born on January 24, 1931 in Williamsburg, Kentucky to Tom Shelton and Josephine Stephens Shelton. She was a caretaker for several years. She married Julian Ray Purdy and they spent 35 wonderful years together. She loved camping, boating, and water skiing. However, most of all she adored spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents: Tom and Josephine Shelton; husband: Julian Purdy; three sisters, two brothers, one niece, and one nephew. She is survived by:

Nine nieces and nephews. And they all knew they was her favorite.

Grandsons: Aslan Bosworth (Jamie)

 Sean Bosworth (Fiancé: Meagan Estes)

Great Grandchildren: Mekaylah Bosworth, Peyton Bosworth, Emma Bosworth, Ella Bosworth, Ethan Bosworth, Erik Bosworth.

The family will have a graveside internment service on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Roane Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Evans Mortuary is serving the family of Mrs. Lorraine Purdy.
