Jerry Ross Johnson

Jerry Ross Johnson, age 81 of Rockwood, Tennessee passed away January 28, 2020 at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee. He was born on August 26, 1938 in Greeneville, Tennessee, where he lived and raised his family with his wife, Sue, of 57 years. He was known to be able to build or repair anything.  He loved to bowl so much that he could have been a professional. He was dedicated to Jesus Christ and served churches in Greeneville, Florida, and Kingston. He enjoyed playing cards and dominos and could find a four-leaf clover in any patch of green grass. He loved Westerns, helping people and supporting various church missions. He also achieved the level of 32^nd Degree Mason and Shriner. He was preceded in death by his parents: Edgar & Mamie Johnson; Wife of 57 years: Delora Sue Johnson; and sister: Regonna McAbee.

                                         Johnson, and Alex Johnson.

Great Grandchildren: Trenton Johnson

Sister:                              Sarah Ann Ailshie

Several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family members.

Family will receive friends Saturday, February 1, 2020 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Evans Mortuary. Funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm with Preacher Roger Carter officiating. Interment and graveside service will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Rockwood, Tennessee on Sunday, February 2^nd, 2020 at 2:00 pm. Evans Mortuary is serving the family of Jerry Ross Johnson.
