Jerry was a devoted husband to Sunny for 63 beautiful years, sharing a love and partnership that was an inspiration to all who knew them. He was an incredible father to Cathy Gibson and Scott Meadows, and the proud grandfather of seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren and treated many, many, more as his own family. Family was his greatest treasure, and he cherished every moment spent with them making memories.
Jerry dedicated 25 years of his career to serving as a Hospital Assistant Administrator at Chamberlain Memorial Hospital. He was a straight shooter, always ready with a joke, and never missed an opportunity to give anyone and everyone a hug. He met no stranger, welcoming all with open arms and a warm heart. In his free time, Jerry enjoyed playing golf, working crossword puzzles, and spending countless hours watching football practices.
