James Robert “Jim” Miles

James Robert “Jim” Miles, age 72 of Rockwood, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 6^th, 2019. He was born on July 1^st, 1946 in Kingston, TN. Jim loved to fish, sing, preach and go to church. He is preceded in death by his parents: Charles and Claudia Miles; and Mother-in-law: Willie Mae Morris. He is survived by:

Wife of 14 years:                               Clara Miles of Rockwood, TN

Sons:                                                     David Miles (Heather) of Harriman, TN

                                                                Chris McLean (Amy) of Soddy Daisy, TN

Daughter:                                            Beverly Terry of Rockwood, TN

Grandchildren:                                 Brittany Terry, Tori Miles, Chris Miles, Braden Miles, Noah McCarrol, Melanie McLean, Mariah Goldberg, and Evan Alley.

Brothers:                                             Charles Miles (Mary) of Kingston, TN

                                                                Harvey Miles of Rockwood, TN

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 8^th, from 1:00-2:00 pm in the chapel of Evans Mortuary. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm with Rev. Danny Miles and Pastor Chris McLean officiating. Graveside and interment will follow in the Odd Fellow’s Cemetery in Rockwood, TN. Evans Mortuary is serving the family of Mr. James Robert “Jim” Miles.
