James Franklin Bowling, Jr.

Mr. James Franklin Bowling, Jr. age 68, passed away on April 8, 2025 at his home. He was born on March 8, 1957 in Rockwood, TN to James Franklin Bowling, Sr. and Arettia Shadden Bowling. James worked in road construction for many years with Talley Construction. He enjoyed traveling anywhere he was able to and was a motorcycle fanatic. Most of all, he loved playing and supervising his grandbabies. He is preceded in death by his parents: James Franklin Bowling, Sr. and Arettia Bowling; sisters: Ella Bowling, Joyce Forman, Alice Pope, and Shirley Bowling; and brother: Rolland Bowling. He is survived by:

Daughter: Layla Anderson (Preston) of Rockwood, TN

Son: Jamie Riddle (Ashley) of Knoxville, TN

5 Grandchildren: Darian, Mizea, TahDarius, Emme, and Crew

2 Great Grandchildren: Ka'Marii and Dre'Lyn
