Hobert “Hobie” Ancil Newport

Mr. Hobert “Hobie” Ancil Newport, age 65 of Harriman, TN passed away on Monday, December 9^th, 2019 at home with his family by his side. He was born on May 27^th, 1954 in Dayton, OH. He was a loving and faithful father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He loved to go fishing, watching football, listening to music, and his pet cat Blackie. He was preceded in death by his parents: Glenna & Ancil Newport; Wife: Rebecca Newport; Brother: Kerry Todd Newport; Grandparents: Shirley Hobert Cook (Laura) and Hobert Newport (Bertie). He is survived by:

And several nieces, nephews, and other extended families.

The family will receive friends on Friday, December 13^th, 2019 from 12:00pm till 2:00pm. Funeral service will follow at 2:00pm with Bro. Ronald Cook officiating. Graveside and interment will follow in the Roane Memorial Garden in Rockwood, TN. Evans Mortuary is serving the family of Mr. Hobert “Hobie” Ancil Newport.
