Ellis “Red” Coleman

Mr. Ellis “Red” Coleman, age 86 of Rockwood, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 4^th, 2019 at Tennova Healthcare in Knoxville, TN. He was born on January 19^th, 1933 in Pikeville, KY. He was a U.S. Army veteran and served in the Korean War. He was a disabled veteran and served on the Roane County Military Memorial Honor Guard and was a member of the American Legion. Mr. Coleman was also a member of the North Rockwood Baptist Church. He loved his family and his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents: Scott Coleman & Faye Stiltner; and brother: Earl Coleman. He is survived by:

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 8^th, 2019 from 5:00-7:00pm at Evans Mortuary in Rockwood, TN. Funeral service will follow at 7:00pm with Rev. Ben Whattenbarger officiating. Graveside and interment service will be on Saturday, November 9^th, 2019 at 11:00am in the Roane Memorial Gardens in Rockwood with full military honors presented by the U.S. Army Honor Guard and Roane County Military Memorial Honor Guard.
