Dr. Patricia Anne Smith

Dr. Patricia Anne Smith, 85, of Rockwood/Knoxville passed away on July 4th, 2021. She was a  professor and Professor Emeritus at Northeastern Illinois University. She was also a graduate of Carson-Newman College and Northwestern University. She loved her pets, reading mysteries, seeing family members, Lady Vols Basketball, and lake life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Randall Watson Clinton Smith and Susan Josephine Miller Smith, her siblings James, Rose, Fletcher, Harold, Clay, Marvin, and Richard. She is survived by her brother, Thomas Carl Smith, several nieces and nephews, and other family members. She was quite close with her niece Sue Ramsey Bowyer (more like a sister to Pat), great nephew Robert Seay, and great great niece Robyn Seay.
