Douglas Lynn "Doug" Cofer

Mr. Douglas Lynn “Doug” Cofer, age 63, a resident of Harriman, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at the Methodist Medical Center, Oak Ridge, Tennessee. He was born December 30, 1960, in Harriman, Tennessee. Doug was a Carpenter at the U.S. Department of Energy Y-12 Facility and was a member of the Carpenters Union Local # 50 in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his wife, Karen Cofer; father, John Donald “Don” Cofer; and several brothers and sisters.

Grandson: Dylan Scarbrough of Harriman, TN

Stepchildren: Angela Michelle Scarbrough of Harriman, TN

 Phillip Albert Schnepp of Oak Ridge, TN

Granddaughter: Laura Beth Miller (Jack) of Harriman, TN

Great Granddaughter: Delilah

Brothers: Bryan Keith “Fred” Cofer (Janice) of Harriman, TN

 Michael Wayne “Bo” Cofer (Brandy) of Harriman, TN

 Charles Lewis “Petey” Cofer of Oakdale, TN

And several cousins, other relatives, and friends.

The family will receive friends Saturday, September 28, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at the Evans Mortuary. Graveside services and interment will follow in the Cofer Family Cemetery in Rockwood, Tennessee with Charles “Petey” Cofer officiating. Evans Mortuary of Rockwood, Tennessee is serving the family of Mr. Douglas Lynn “Doug” Cofer.
