Mrs. Connie Faye (Kindred) Vance, age 73 a resident of the Westel Community of Rockwood, Tennessee passed away Saturday, October 12, 2024, at home surrounded by her family after battling Alzheimer’s for so many years. She was born November 29, 1950, in Rockwood, Tennessee. Connie loved the Lord and her family. She was one of the most selfless people and was dedicated to helping others. She used many of her God-given talents to bless so many! She was a long-time member of the Daysville, Church of Christ. She loved to bake, sew, crochet, teach Sunday School class and work outside. She went above and beyond to ensure that her loved ones knew just how much she loved and cared for them. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her Mother, Virginia (Young) Kindred.

Twin Brother: Ronnie Kindred (Zonia)
Brother: Wayne “Red” Kindred
Sister: Rhoda Kindred
Son: Gary Vance (Angela)
Daughter: Stacey (Vance) Whittenberg, (Eric)
Grandsons: Cameron Vance and Dawson McElhaney (Kayla)
Granddaughters: Kaylee Vance, Alexus McElhaney, Jayda Burgess, (Seth), Kylee Whittenberg, and Chloe Whittenberg
Great-Grandchildren: Maverick, Wyatt, Oliver, and Baby Emory (on the way)
A host of nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
Family and friends will meet on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. (E.D.T.) in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Rockwood, Tennessee for Graveside services and interment with Bro. Roger Carter officiating. Family and Friends will gather at Rockwood First Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall (429 West Rockwood Street Rockwood, TN 37854) for food and fellowship following the burial. Evans Mortuary of Rockwood, Tennessee is serving the family of Mrs. Connie Faye (Kindred) Vance.
