Cleeda May Hinds

Mrs. Cleeda May Hinds, age 97, a resident of the Glen Alice Community of Rockwood, Tennessee passed away Friday, January 24, 2025. She was born May 12, 1927, in Rockwood, Tennessee. While living in the Glen Alice Community she graduated from High School, married, and worked as a Teller at First National Bank and Trust, now Regions Bank, and retired to enjoy her flowers and gardening. Cleeda was a lifelong member of the Glen Alice Christian Church and played the piano for services for many years. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Hinds; daughter, Marha; parents, Garland Miller & Eliza Bacon Miller; sister & brother-in-law, Carolyn & Stanley Cunningham; and numerous cousins and their spouses.

Several Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, and Great-Great Grandchildren

Niece: Vickie Cunningham

And a host of other relatives and friends.

Family and friends will meet on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in the Glen Alice Cemetery in Rockwood, Tennessee for Graveside services and interment with Bro. Bud Strader officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Evans Mortuary of Rockwood, Tennessee is serving the family of Mrs. Cleeda May Hinds.
