Charlotte Summers, age 70 of Rockwood, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2019 at the Roane Medical Center, Harriman, Tennessee. Mrs. Summers attended Emory Heights Baptist Church in Harriman, Tennessee. She retired as an LPN from Michael Dunn. She is preceded in death by her Parents, John & Lottie Freels; Siblings, Harvey Simpson, Jr., J.B. Freels, Barbara Jean Trail and Homer Jackson Freels. Survivors include: Husband: L.G. Summers of Rockwood, TN Son: Michael Paul Chasteen (Jessica) of Carrollton, TX Children: Wade Summers (Sheryl) of Rockwood, TN Steve Summers of Rockwood, TN Shawna Branson (Jeff) of Rockwood, TN Robin Kittrell (Jason) of Oakdale, TN 9 Grandchildren: Ashton Chasteen, Gavin Chasteen, Trevor & Anna Summers, Whitney Hill Chelsey Stewart, Summer Butler, Madeline Kittrell, Darren Kittrell 5 Great Grandchildren: Tristyn, Keegan, Sophie Butler, Ellie Keen, Abigail Keen Brother: Michael Hobert Freels of Cookeville, TN Sister: Margaret Lynn Humphreys of Coalhill, TN The family will receive friends at Evans Mortuary, Rockwood, Tennessee on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 from 5:00-7:00pm. The Funeral Service will follow from the Chapel at 7:00pm with Rev. Charles Kelley officiating. Interment and Burial will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2019 in the Pine Orchard Cemetery at 11:00am. Evans Mortuary is serving the family of Charlotte Summers.
