Charlene G Paul

It's with a heavy heart we announce the passing of Charlene Grindle Paul, 92, went to be with her heavenly family on March 11, 2025, in her Maryville, TN, home surrounded by family. She was born in Spring City, TN, to her parents Thomas Floyd Grindle and Clara Walker on November 7, 1932. 

She was the backbone of her family and spread love everywhere she went. She had a great love for God.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Thomas Floyd Grindle and Clara Walker; daughter: Brenda Rutherford; sister: Pearl Greene; brother: James Walker; and grandson: Benjamin Spencer

She is survived by:

Daughter: Vickie Woolford (Eugene "Bud")

Grandchildren: Tracee Howard, Heather Woolford, Christopher "Brent" Woolford (Kristi), Eugene "BJ" Cummings (Holly)

Great Grandchildren: Jacob Woolford, Kayla Howard, Cody Woolford, Rylan Parton, Alexandria "Alex" Woolford, Logan Cummings, Camilla Stracener, Colt Cummings

Great Great Grandchildren: Elijah Howard and Scarlett Ward

Brother: Johnny Walker

and a host of nieces and nephews and other extended family members. 

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 14, 2025, from 12:00-2:00 pm ET at Evans Mortuary in Rockwood with graveside and interment service will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Rockwood at 2:15 pm ET with Bro. Wade Green officiating. Evans Mortuary is serving the family of Charlene Grindle Paul.
