Bryan Marcell "Scoot" Fearn

Bryan Marcell “Scoot” Fearn of Rockwood, TN passed on Friday, January 24 at Oak Ridge Methodist hospital.

Bryan was 1989 graduate of Rockwood High School, and then attended Roane State community college before he heading to Middle Tennessee State University. At MTSU, he became a member of Phi Beta Sigma, Incorporate, where he was a dedicated member. After receiving his bachelor from MTSU, Bryan remained in Nashville until 2018, then headed back to Rockwood to help take his dedicated mother, Lynda Fearn.

Scoot was employed by Wakefield Associates, where he was an Insurance Specialist and adored by all his coworkers.

Known for being a gentle spirit, Scoot was a loyal son, father, family member and friend to all who loved him.

Anyone who knew Scoot, knew he loved to The Dallas Cowboys, Duke Blue Devils basketball and hanging out with friends by the grill.

He is preceded in death by his mom Lynda Fearn, father Rodney Walker, brother Justin Walker, grandparents Clarence and Mary Fearn, Uncle Antonio Maceo Fearn and Aunt Mary Yvette Wester. 

He is survived by his loving son Jalen Fearn, cherished companion, Rebecca Hart, sisters Melissa Harvey, and Rebecca Harvey, brother Tazzman Walker. He is also survived by his uncles Odell Fearn, and Haven Fearn (Phyllis), Aunt Cheryl Allen, dedicated cousin, Erica Ragland with many more relatives and loving friends to mourn his loss.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 1, 2025, from 12:00-2:00 pm ET at Evans Mortuary in Rockwood. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm ET with Rev. Steven Womack officiating. Graveside and interment service will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Rockwood, TN. Evans Mortuary is serving the family of Mr. Bryan Marcell "Scoot" Fearn.
