Avery Peyton Barger, age 22 of Spring City, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 23rd, 2021, at his home. He was a member of and attended the Macedonia Baptist Church, and also attended New Union Baptist Church in Dayton with his sister. He was an avid Tennessee football fan, golfer, and fisherman. He is survived by:

Sister:                         Kenzie Everett (Skyler) of Evensville, TN

Brother:                      Gage Barger (Peyton) of Spring City, TN

Sister:                         Emma Chloe Barger of Spring City, TN

Grandparents:            Harvey “Sonny” & Linda Barger of Spring City, TN

Jerry & Paula Lyke of Spring City, TN

Aloma & Mike Patrick of Spring City, TN

Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other extended family members and friends.

 

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 27th, 2021, from 5:00-7:00 pm ET at Evans Mortuary in Rockwood, TN. Funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm with Micah Ruehling, Rev. Les Arwood, and Pastor Colby Bridwell officiating. A private graveside will be held at a later date. Evans Mortuary is serving the family of Mr. Avery Peyton Barger. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Crossroads Rescue Mission c/o Faith Baptist Church PO Box 2090 Shelby, NC 28151.
