Mr. Thomas Fletcher Scott, Sr. Age 93, of Rockwood, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2015 at Harriman Care & Rehab Center in Harriman, Tennessee. He was of the Protestant Faith. He served as Boy Scout Leader, Deacon, Elder, and Sunday School Teacher at the First Presbyterian Church. Mr. Scott was the son of Fletcher Foster & Emma Woodall Scott. He was a World War II, U.S. Navy Veteran. Tom was one of the First Members of the Rockwood Housing Authority. He was a Historian of Rockwood, Tennessee. Before Retiring He was an Auto Parts Salesman in the Rockwood Community. He was a Member of the Rockwood High School Class of 1939. He is preceded in Death by his Wife of 57 years: Mary Pierce Scott; Parents; Brothers: Bill Scott & George Ed Scott; Sisters: Maggie Mae, ILA Rae Stein, and June Allen; Granddaughter: Katheryn Margaret Scott
He is survived by:

Daughters: Billie Lou Baker of Georgia
Nancy Farmer (Eddie) of Rockwood, Tennessee
Sister: Ruth Courtney of Lumberton, NC
6 Grandchildren: Lei Brown, Liz Scott, Amy Asdel, Mark Scott, Matthew Scott, Stephanie Craft

Arrangements are as follows: Wednesday, April 29, 2015 in the Chapel of Evans Mortuary in Rockwood, Tennessee
Family will receive Friends from 1:00pm to 3:00pm; Graveside Services will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Rockwood with Rev. Charles Kelley, officiating. In Lieu of Flowers, family requests donations be made to the Mission of Hope, P.O. Box 51824, Knoxville, Tennessee 37950 of the Charity of their choice.
