Mrs. Dora Mae Ingram, age 78, a resident of Rockwood, Tennessee passed away Sunday, April 10, 2016 at The Bridge at Rockwood. She was born May 6, 1937 in Meigs County, Tennessee to Jake Sutton and Mamie Thompson Sutton. Mrs. Ingram was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed writing songs, gardening, cooking and canning, and spending time with her family. She enjoyed reading the Bible and read it through many times. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Ingram; sisters, Nettie Sutton, Faye Mullins, and Alice Sutton; and brothers, Jimmy Sutton, Jack Sutton, Earl Sutton, Ernest Sutton, Warren Sutton, Dale Sutton, John Sutton, and George Sutton.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 12, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Evans Mortuary. Graveside services and interment will be held Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Rockwood, Cumberland County, Tennessee with Pastor Brian Hines officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Crippled Children’s Hospital.
