Mr. M.P. Hastings, age 92 of Harriman, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at the Renaissance Terrace Care & Rehab Center in Harriman, Tennessee. Mr. Hastings was a Lifelong Member and 60-Year Deacon of Piney Grove Baptist Church in Midtown. M. P. was a U. S. Army Veteran serving during World War II. He was a 50+ year Member of the Union Lodge Masonic Lodge #38 F&AM in Kingston, Tennessee. He was a Devoted Father, Grandfather, and Friend to all. He was preceded in Death by Parents: Mr. & Mrs. Robert Hastings; Wife: Gladys Hastings; Son: Phil Hastings: Infant Children: Billy Ray Hastings and Alice Faye Hastings; Several Brothers and Sister.

Gene Hastings (Dorathy) of Spring City, Tennessee
Daughter: Kay Wolman of Bethesda, Maryland
7 Grandchildren: Chris Hastings (Lori), Robert Green (Susie), Tonya Hasbrouck (Matt), Jason Hastings, Justin Hastings (Jessica), Lauren Wolman, and Jonathan Wolman
3 Great-Grandchildren: Katie Green, Heather Hastings, and Luke Hastings
Several Nieces, Nephews, along with Many Friends in the Roane County Community
Arrangements are as Follows: Monday, July 20, 2015 in the Chapel of Evans Mortuary, Family will receive Friends from 12:00pm to 2:00pm, Funeral will follow at 2:00pm. Concluding Services and Interment will be held following the Funeral in the Roane Memorial Gardens in Rockwood, Tennessee with Full-Military Honors by the U. S. Army Honor Guard and the Roane County Military Memorial Honor Guard.
