Mr. Howard B. “Easy” Jarvis, age 92 of Seymour, Tennessee (formally of Rockwood) passed away at the East Tennessee Veterans Home in Knoxville on Friday, March 7, 2014. Mr. Jarvis was a Lifetime Member of the Rockwood United Methodist Church in Rockwood, Tennessee. He was a U. S. Army World War II Veteran serving in Europe and Africa. He was member of the VFW of Rockwood and American Legion Post #50 of Rockwood, Tennessee. “Easy” was the oldest living member of the Rockwood Masonic Lodge #403. He was preceded in death by Parents: Artie & Effie Jarvis; Wife: Opal Jarvis; Brothers: Richard Jarvis and Bill Jarvis; Sisters: Mary Miller & Martha Long.
He is survived by:
Nephew: Jim Jarvis of Ooltewah, Tennessee
Niece: Judy Edwards (Jack) of Kingsport, Tennessee

Funeral and Visitation Arrangements are as follows: Sunday, March 9, 2014 at the Rockwood United Methodist Church, Visitation will be from 1:00pm to 2:00pm, Funeral will be at 2:00pm with the Rev. Don Ferguson, officiating. Interment and Concluding services will follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery with Full-Military Honors by the Roane County Military Memorial and the U. S. Army Honor Guards. In lieu of Flowers the Family wishes for donations to be made to the Honor Flight Network, 300 East Auburn Ave., Springfield, Ohio 45505.
