Mr. Charles Dean Clinton, age 72, a resident of Rockwood, Tennessee went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 while camping at the Riley Creek Campground in Kingston, Tennessee, an activity he much enjoyed. He was born June 5, 1943 in Morgan County, Tennessee to William Clinton and Myrtle Walker Clinton. He was a member of the Mt. Vernal Baptist Church in Rockwood. Mr. Clinton was a retired Supervisor in the Building Construction industry, working at several D.O.E. sites; and was a former carpenter who built several houses. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and boating; and was a Modified Mini race car driver (#28). He was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Kenneth Clinton, Gary Clinton, and Bethel Clinton; and sister, Evelyn A. Strickland.

The family will receive friends Saturday, August 1, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Evans Mortuary. Funeral services will follow on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Evans Mortuary with Bro. Jamie Nelson officiating. Committal services and interment will follow in the Mossy Grove Cemetery in Morgan County, Tennessee with Bro. Mike Nelson officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made C/O Citizens First Bank, Account # 402016, which will be used to support Church Missions.
