Mr. Leslie Earl Majors, Jr., age 67, a resident of Rockwood, Tennessee passed away Saturday, May 28, 2016 at his residence. He was born October 10, 1948 in Rockwood, Tennessee. Mr. Majors was a member of the Paradise Baptist Church in Rockwood and was a retired car salesman. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post # 4782 in Rockwood. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie Earl Majors, Sr. and Betty Ray Hardin Majors; wife, Joanne Majors; step-son, Tony D. Stanley; brother, Vance Majors; sister Nanita Blank; and best friend and comrade, Donnie Miller.

The family will receive friends Thursday, June 2, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at the Evans Mortuary. Funeral services will follow on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Evans Mortuary with Rev. Ernie Willis officiating. Committal services and interment will follow in the Eagle Furnace Cemetery in Rockwood with full military honors by the Roane County Military Memorial Honor Guard and the U.S. Navy. Memorial contributions may be made C/O Evans Mortuary for funeral expenses.
